Hostinger switched from monthly to weekly product updates this year, and the pace shows. Across weeks 35 to 38 — 31 August to 21 September — the through-line is clear: its AI stopped being a website builder that writes pages and started being an operator that does jobs. It now produces files, works over WhatsApp, and sells without a storefront.

The four that matter

Agent Sandboxes: the AI can run code in an isolated environment and hand back real deliverables — presentations, spreadsheets, project packages — inside the chat.

Hostinger Agent on WhatsApp: full launch, with three-day sessions, voice notes it transcribes, and scheduled job results delivered to your phone.

Checkout links: sell a product with a pre-filled checkout link and no storefront at all — paste it in a bio, an email, or a QR code on the packaging.

TikTok Shop: a native sales channel for Hostinger Ecommerce, starting in Brazil.

Week 38 (21 September): the agent gets hands

Hostinger’s framing for Agent Sandboxes is that they give the agent hands. Instead of describing what it would do, the agent spins up an isolated temporary compute environment, executes code there, and returns finished files you can download from the conversation — a presentation, a spreadsheet, a packaged project. For anyone who has watched an AI assistant explain a spreadsheet it cannot actually produce, that is the difference between a demo and a tool.

The WhatsApp agent also grew up this week. Sessions now stay alive for three days and refresh with every message, so you are not re-authenticating mid-task. You can send a voice note and get a written answer back. And results from scheduled jobs are pushed to WhatsApp, with the full output included if you messaged the agent within the previous 24 hours.

Two more: Checkout Links let a store owner sell without a website — a pre-filled checkout page shared anywhere a link goes, including a QR code on a box. And Hostinger Hub gives WordPress users a new admin home screen, via the Easy Onboarding plugin, with a setup checklist and site status; it is for Hostinger hosting customers only. Hostinger Email also gained multi-mailbox login, so you can switch inboxes without signing out.

Week 37 (14 September): selling on TikTok, deploying from GitLab

  • Hostinger Agent on WhatsApp launched properly, with skills, per-interaction credits, Composio integrations and QR pairing.
  • TikTok Shop arrived as an Ecommerce sales channel, Brazil first, with more markets promised.
  • GitLab deployments, with auto-deploy on push, for every site type except Node.js. Node.js templates were added separately.
  • AI automation apps: Paperclip joined OpenClaw, Hermes and n8n in the one-click app list, and you can now link a Cursor key or a ChatGPT account.
  • Reach forms convert to native forms when you switch a site from manual to agentic mode.

Week 36 (7 September): show the builder what you mean

The AI Builder can now take file and image attachments. You can attach files to the initial generation prompt, and reference images inside an “Edit with AI” annotation — useful when describing a layout in words is slower than pointing at one. The limits are worth noting before you plan around them:

File typesJPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP, ICO

Ecommerce product-image generation accepts prompts and references to existing media in the same request. Reach — Hostinger’s email marketing side — became manageable in plain language through the agent, and picked up three re-engagement automations, segment exclusion in campaigns, form version history, a one-click WordPress embed and an embedded video element for email templates.

Week 35 (31 August): an API for Reach, and undo for AI builds

  • Reach public API with more than 30 endpoints covering contacts, custom fields, tags, segments, forms, campaigns and automations, plus sending from a subdomain such as mail.yourdomain.com.
  • File-level revert in AI Builder: restore one file instead of rolling back an entire AI response — the fix for the moment the AI improves one page and breaks another.
  • WordPress AI site version history, keeping up to five versions to browse and restore.
  • A new Hostinger Ecommerce plugin for running headless commerce on a WordPress storefront.
  • Bulk domain transfers, up to 10 at a time or by CSV upload.
  • The AI Builder can now build appointment-booking businesses — barbers, salons, tattoo artists, trainers, tutors, photographers.

Context for all of it: the week before, Hostinger merged AI Builder and Website Builder into one product, and consolidated Kodee with its AI agents. The weekly releases since have been filling in that merged surface.

What Hostinger did not change in these five weeks is pricing. Plan prices are unchanged across weeks 35 to 38, and our Hostinger review still reflects what you pay.

The verdict

Most hosting companies bolt an AI assistant onto the control panel and call it a feature. Hostinger is doing something more ambitious and more useful: making the agent a place where work finishes — code runs, files come out, stores take money, and the whole thing answers on WhatsApp. If you have a Hostinger site and have not looked at the agent since it was Kodee, it is a different product now.
